Uma Thurman – will she ever marry Arpad Busson?

Gorgeous Kill Bill movie star Uma Thurman and her slightly dull financier fiance Arpad ‘Arki’ Busson got engaged in in June 2008 – a lifetime ago in the celeb world.

So are they ever going to actually walk down the aisle? I’m not convinced given what Uma says in a new interview.

Normally celebs announce a date as soon as they’ve exchanged the engagement rings and sign an exclusive deal with a magazine within minutes.

And in the new issue of Harpers Bazaar, which is on sale in the UK on Monday, Uma says: “When it comes to marriage, you just never know.”

Weird.

Katie Price gets a hard time from the press. I witnessed how hard she worked on Friday when I was backstage at The Clothes Show Live at London’s Excel centre. She barely had time to breathe because of all the outfit changes, let alone drink Champagne. And the only men with her were her trusty hairdresser Gary Cockerill and her make-up artist.

Jo Wood is wearing vintage. She tells me her friend leant it to her and that it was made in the 1970s. Out of leather. Even the white colllar. Utterly fabulous! Talk about rocking a look.

Jo was the best dressed woman I saw all night at the London Bar and Club Awards. 

Rolling Stone Ronnie Wood left her for a 20 year old Russian waiteress who is normally wearing UGG boots and skinny jeans. I do not get it!!

DJ Sam Young chats Kasabian AND Natalie Imbruglia

What’s Important? worked brilliantly with DJ Sam Young at the London Bar and Club Awards. I wanted the lowdown on Kasabian. What he told me about Natalie Imbruglia was an added bonus.

You may notice there were only three questions. That’s my fault. I thought two of the questions I asked were rubbish (ie what’s your ambition?) so I’m not gonna waste time posting it

As Sam did so well, I wish him all the best for his Nod Factor label and his new single Peep This.

Robert Pattinson is looking for fun

Good news girls – Robert Pattinson is officially single.

I waltzed over for a little flirt as soon as I saw him at the AmFar charity dinner in the exclusive Hotel du Cap in Antibes.

After warming him up by telling him he is the second best looking vampire in the world, (because Brad Pitt was in Interview With a Vampire), we had a long chat about all matters of the heart.

I just wanted to eat Robert up / snog his face off when he told me: “I haven’t had a girlfriend in ages. I’m not very settled at all. I’ve spent every night of the last six months in hotel rooms around the world. I haven’t been back to my parents house in six whole months.There is no way a girl would put up with that.”

Uhhhh, HELLOOOOO – I’d give it a damn good shot and I’m sure many other girls would consider it.

But Robert added: “I don’t even find time to meet anyone. If I’m not working then I am doing interviews and if I am not doing interviews then I am attending corporate and charity events where I have to be on my best behaviour to stop photos getting out.

“Basically, I don’t have time for fun. It’s 2am now and I am getting up about 5am to go to Rome for five days. Then I’m going somewhere else and then to LA. I’m filming another Twilight that will be released this year and next year I should have three movies out.”

At this point, I was starting to think he was a bit of a moaner until he looked me in the eyes with his full-on glare and I tried not to swoon as he said: “I seriously need to party! I’m just worried that if I start partying I won’t stop as it’s been so long. What can I do?”

Given that he had to get a flight the next day, I told him that the best option would be to get some sleep. He’ll thank me for it in the long-term and remember me as I bet many girls don’t tell him that.

Kylie Minogue Hearts Andres Velencoso

The chances of getting Kylie Minogue to talk about her love life used to be as slim as getting Madonna to go a whole day without exercise.

But when I asked if she was buying a place in Spain with her dreamboat Mediterranean lover Andres Velencoso, she can’t help but boast how well their relationship is going.

Her answer definitely suggests she’s in it for the long-term. Her name will be Kylie Velencoso before we know it.
